Gibsons Beach actually derives its name from the staircase which leads down onto the beach.
The beach is part of Port Campbell National Park, and is located not more than a few minutes drive
from the Twelve Apostles.
Unfortunately the staircase down to the beach has been declared unsafe (as of March 2008), and
as such has been closed until further notice. |
