The Island Archway is located at Loch Ard Gorge in the Port Cambell National Park, Victoria, Australia.
The gorge itself is named after the clipper ship Loch Ard, which ran aground on nearby Muttonbird
Island on 1st June 1878, so close to the end of its 3 month journey from England to Melbourne.
This superbly detailed print clearly shows the erosion process of the limestone arch.
