London Arch, Great Ocean Road |
Code - LA01C |
On 15th January 1990 the arch closest to the shoreline collapsed, leaving two tourists stranded on
the outer limestone stack. Following their rescue by helicopter the 'London Bridge' was renamed
the London Arch.
The erosion process is once again highly evident at the base of the arch in this detailed panorama, best
appreciated in a large print! |
