* New Print Release *

The city of Melbourne at dusk can be seen nestled behind the new ANZ Bank Docklands headquarters.

This image was photographed from an apartment balcony in Lorimer Street looking north towards Melbourne CBD. It required a few attempts until the conditions were favourable, however eventually I was able to capture this 180 degree sweep from the Bolte Bridge right around to Flinders Street.

The final print is composed of 43 high resolution images seamlessly blended as a multi row panorama. By using a large number of component photographs it is possible to display an intricate level of detail, as can be seen in the slideshow opposite.

As one of the largest prints in my collection i find myself enjoying many moments appreciating the life and vibrancy of the city - from the lonely fisherman to the Collins street traffic.
