Adding contrast using blend modes in Photoshop

This short video illustrates how to simply and quickly increase the contrast and selectively brighten areas in an image using adjustment layers within Adobe Photoshop. By varying the blend mode in Photoshop for each adjustment layer, it is possible to non destructively enhance an image, all while maintaining a smaller working file size, a definite advantage to any commercial photographer.
